What you should really pay for: Session fees indicate the level of the photographer’s skill, and like most things you get what you pay for. Average photographers charge a relatively low session or service fee, which is similar to that of a plumber, electrician, or furnace repairman. This typically only covers their time. In the case of most photographers, this fee covers the session time, and the time to prepare a set number of proofs from which you are to place your order. Then, depending on the number of limited packages available, or the size of the standard photos, you could expect to pay five times, ten times, or even more than the cost of the paper the photos are printed on. Finally, if their digital image files are for sale, expect to pay a premium on top of what you’ve already paid for your print order. Our fee, which reflects our level of creativity, is above average cost, and as I mentioned, you definitely get what you pay for. Our package fee includes providing our exclusive Anywhere, Anytime Photo viewing, sharing, and ordering from any device with Internet connection within hours, not days of your portrait session. Depending on your Package selection you could receive a USB drive in the mail containing the entire set of digital image files, which few other photographers are willing to provide. And the files are the highest-quality which allows you to order virtually any size prints, and the most popular photo products available. Depending on your choice, you can order photos and photo products from our professional photo lab, but rather than inflating the cost of products such as 4×6’s and 8×10’s that, our pricing is comparable to what you might pay at Costco, with a modest fee added to cover the professional print quality, the convenience and ease of ordering, plus unlimited secure storage. It’s like your own private and secure photo vault. And finally, as a full-time, full-service professional, our customer service is why clients continue to come to us year-after-year for all of their photographic needs. Our days and hours of operation are scheduled to suit even the busiest family schedules.
